Deputy Sultan grants audience to new Brunei diplomats

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Pg. Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Deputy Sultan, yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience the newly appointed Brunei Darussalam's High Commissioner and Brunei Darussalam's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors, a Press Release from the Prime Minister's Office stated.

His Royal Highness consented to receive in audience Pehin Datu Penglima Kolonel (B) Hj Abdul Jalil bin Hj Ahmad, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Emaleen binti Abd. Rahman Teo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Philippines and Pg. Hj Sahari bin Pg. Hj Salleh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pehin Datu Penglima Kolonel (B) Hj Abdul Jalil bin Hj Ahmad and Emaleen binti Abd. Rahman Teo presented their credentials to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on February 5, 2005 while Pg. Hj Sahari bin Pg. Hj Salleh presented his credentials to His Majesty on February 3, 2005.

Also present during the audience ceremony was Pehin Dato Paduka Awg Hj Hazair bin Hj Abdullah, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.
