His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding that have so long been established between Brunei Darussalam and Kuwait. His Majesty hoped the cordial ties would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and people. This was expressed in a message of congratulations to His Royal Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, on the occasion of Kuwait’s National Day, today. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam also prays that the Emir of Kuwait will always remain in good health, and for the people of Kuwait to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also conveyed congratulatory messages to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Doctor Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, on the occasion of the National Day of Kuwait. In the message, His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation with the excellent relations between two countries, and looked forward to continuing the work with His Excellency to strengthen friendship and cooperation.
