Their Royal Highnesses end their three-day official visit to Laos

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and the Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, Friday ended their official visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Before departing for the Wattay International Airport, Their Royal Highnesses attended an official farewell ceremony at the Reception Hall of the State Guesthouse.

Present at the ceremony were the Vice President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, His Excellency Choummaly Sayasone and spouse, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Somsavat Lengsavad and other Laotian Ministers.

A prayer was recited to bless the journey by Pehin Khatib Haji Mat Jaya bin Haji Ibrahim, shortly before the official farewell ceremony.

The visit by Their Royal Highnesses to Laos was at the invitation of the Laotian President, His Excellency Khamtay Siphandone. Present at the Wattay International Airport to bid farewell to Their Royal Highnesses were the Laotian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Somsavat Lengsavad and spouse, the Deputy Mayor of Vientiane, His Excellency Bounthong Vongsaly, the Ambassador of Laos to Brunei Darussalam and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Laos. Also present was Brunei Darussalam’s Ambassador to Laos, His Excellency Haji Sidek bin Haji Ali and spouse. Accompanying Their Royal Highnesses throughout the visit was Prince Abdul Qawi.

Late Thursday afternoon, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and the Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah on their second-day official visit to Laos went to the National Stadium to watch a soccer match. His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness consented to watch a soccer match between two Laotian teams, Club Vientiane Capital and Army at the National Stadium. Also present was Prince Abdul Qawi.
