His Majesty joins the Sultan of Terengganu on horse riding session

His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to a horse riding session yesterday with Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu, RTB reported last night.

His Majesty was accompanied by the Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi on a ten minute walk along the Awana Kijal Golf, Beach and Spa Resort.

On arrival at the jetty of Awana Beach, His Majesty was greeted by Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu.

His Majesty joined the Sultan of Terengganu on horse riding session in warm and cordial atmosphere. The 5-kilometre riding an session further strengthened ties between both monarchs. In 2002, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negeri Terengganu paid a goodwill visit to Brunei Darussalam.

After the horse riding session, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to attend a breakfast hosted by the Prime Minister of Malaysia. It took place at the Window Steakhouse, Awana Kijal Golf, Beach and Spa resort. His Majesty was accompanied by Sultan Mizal Zainal Abidin. - Borneo Bulletin (26th August 2006)
