Crown Prince consents to watch charity match

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince; Sunday night consented to watch a charity match between DPMM FC and B-League Eleven. The match was held at the National Stadium in Berakas. With His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince was His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik.

Also present was the Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, Pehin Retired Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohammad. Shortly after arrival, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was introduced to the players of both teams by the President of BAFA, Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Doctor Haji Hussein. In the match Sunday night, DPMM FC defeated B-League Eleven, 3-0.

DPMM FC scored its first goal by Rodrigo Antoniov Lombardo Tosi in the 17th minute of the first half. B-League Eleven team tried to make an equaliser but to no avail. In the second half, Rodrigo Antoniov Lombardo Tosi made his second goal 20 minutes after the kickoff to put his team in a secure position.

B-League Eleven played very well in the second half with lots of tries but they could not put up with the opposing team. Two minutes before times out, DPMM FC netted its third goal through Santos Roberto, which sealed DPMM FC’s victory over B-League Eleven, 3-0. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince later consented to give away the prizes and also the Charity Cup to the winner as well as the Man of the Match, Ito Dan, player from the B-League Eleven.
