His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday consented to receive in audience a newly appointed Brunei High Commissioner and a new Brunei Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
His Royal Highness received Dato Seri Laila Jasa Hj Abd Rahman B. Abd Hamid, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and Hj Sidek B. Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei to People's Republic of Laos.
Dato Seri Laila Jasa Hj Abd Rahman and Hj Sidek received their letters of credential from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on 14th January 2006.
Also present during the audience was Pg. Dato Paduka Hj Abu Bakar, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office. The audience took place at Istana Nurul Iman.
