A two-day seminar on International Halal Products Expo 2006 will be held August 8 and 9 by the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources in co-operation with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Health.
The seminar with the theme "Going Global with Halal Products" will be held at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. It is one of the events in conjunction with His Majesty's 60th birthday celebrations.
The seminar will act as a platform for entrepreneurs / industries, local and international specialists as well as government agencies to share experiences, ideas, knowledge and skills through working papers that focus on the management value of the halal products industry.
Fifteen international specialist lecturers from Asean, Europe, Canada and Australia have been invited to present their working papers based on the seminar topics.
Five local specialists have also been invited to present their working papers related to halal products and services.
