Royal congratulatory messages for Italy's Anniversary

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to Mr Giorgio Napolitano, President of the Republic of Italy, and Mr Romano Prodi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy, on the occasion of the Anniversary of their country.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding that had so long been established between Brunei and Italy. His Majesty hoped that this would be fostered and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and the people.

His Majesty also hoped that the Italian President would always remain in good health and happiness, and for the people of Italy to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, His Majesty congratulated Mr Romano Prodi and the Government and people of Italy on the occasion.

His Majesty also wishes Mr Romano Prodi continued good health and happiness.

Meanwhile His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, sent a congratulatory message to Mr Massimo D'Alema, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy.

In the message, His Royal Highness expressed best wishes to the government and the people of Italy on the occasion of their anniversary.
