Brunei-China discuss relations and economic cooperation between two countries

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Friday continued her official visit in the Jiangsu Province, China. Her Royal Highness travelled to Yangzhou City, where she met with the Mayor of Yangzhou, Madam Wang Yanwen, and discussed relations between the two sides. Following the meeting, the Vice-Mayor of Yangzhou, Mr. Chen Weiqing, hosted a luncheon in honour of Her Royal Highness at Yangzhou State Guest House.

Her Royal Highness’ programme during the day included several visits to places of interest as well as a tour of Jingjue Mosque in Nanjing. In the evening, Her Royal Highness graced a dinner hosted in her honour by the Vice-Mayor of Nanjing, Madam Xu Huiling.

Thursday evening, Her Royal Highness had a meeting with the Vice-Governor of Jiangsu Province, Her Excellency Huang Lixin. During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on ways of enhancing economic cooperation and highlighted the potential in a number of sectors such as manufacturing and services. Following the meeting, Her Excellency Huang Lixin hosted a dinner in honour of Her Royal Highness.

Throughout the official visit, Her Royal Highness is being accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz. - Borneo Bulletin (8th Apr 2006)
