His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon held a bilateral meeting with Dato' Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.
During the meeting, His Majesty and the Malaysian premier exchanged views on bilateral relations. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the existing ties and friendship between Brunei and Malaysia, and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in various fields such as trade, foreign direct investment and other areas of mutual interest.
Both leaders also discussed regional and international developments.
