Royal messages on Egypt's National Day

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to Mohammed Hosni Mubarak, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Dr Ahmed Nazif, the Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the occasion of the National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding between Brunei Darussalam and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

His Majesty expressed his hope that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples.

His Majesty prayed to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala that Mohammed Hosni Mubarak would always remain in good health and happiness and that the people of the the Arab Republic of Egypt would always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

At the same time, in a congratulatory message to Dr Ahmed Nazif, His Majesty congratulated him, the government and the people of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the occasion of the National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations between the two countries. His Majesty also expressed his wish that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples.

His Majesty prayed to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for the continued good health and happiness of Dr Ahmed Nazif and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Meanwhile, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, presented his warmest congratulations and best wishes to Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and to the government and people of Egypt on their National Day.

HRH said he greatly appreciates the friendship shared by their countries and he looks forward to continuing to strengthen their warm and cooperative relationship. - Borneo Bulletin (23rd July 2007)
