Sultan arrives for royal banquet

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hjh Saleha yesterday afternoon arrived in Kuala Lumpur to attend the royal banquet to celebrate the Installation of the 13th Seri Paduka Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.

Their Majesties were welcomed on arrival at the Subang International Airport by Dato Seri Dr Rais Yatim, Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage as the Chairman of the Special Committee for the Installation of the 13th Seri Paduka Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and Datin Seri, Dato Hj Wan Mohd Safiain bin Hj Wan Hasan, the Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja, Tengku Farok Hussin bin Tengku Abdul Jalil, the Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela and Tengku Tan Sri Dato Sri Ibrahim bin Engku Ngah, the Keeper of the Royal Seal as well as other state and federal dignitaries.

Also present to greet Their Majesties at the airport were Dato Seri Setia Dr Ustaz Hj Mohammad Amin, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia, and Datin, as well as officers and staff of the High Commission in Kuala Lumpur. - Borneo Bulletin (27th April 2007)
