His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen, Chairman of AM Gunners Football Club, last night presented donations to four special associations in a ceremony that took place at the residence of the club's Deputy Chairman in Jerudong.

The event began with the breaking of the fast and the mass taeawikh prayers. This was followed by the donation presentation, which amounted to $4,000 each for the four recipients namely, the Dana Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah, Pusat Ehsan, KACA and SMARTER Brunei.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Dana Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah was Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim bin Haji Daud, its Chief Executive Officer.

For Pusat Ehsan it was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Alimin bin Haji Abdul Wahab, the Senior Trustee of the Board of Trustees.

Representing KACA was Dato Paduka Haji Zainal bin Haji Momin, President of Kaca and representing SMARTER Brunei was Malai Haji Abdullah bin Malai Haji Othman, President of Smarter Brunei.

Also present at the ceremony was the Deputy Chairman of the AM Gunners Football Club, Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Pahlawan (Rtd) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Hj Mohd Jaafar.

There was also a group photo session between His Royal Highness and the players and coaching members of the football club before the unveiling of the club's new football jerseys to its players and coaching members. - Borneo Bulletin (15th Sept 2008)
