His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to receive in audience Datuk Seri Panglima Hj Yahya Hussin, the Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah, at Istana Nurul Iman.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah was accompanied by Dato' Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari, the Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, and Datuk Sukarti bin Wakiman, the State Government Secretary of Sabah.

Also present were Pengiran Penggawa Laila Bentara Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana Pengiran Hj Alauddin, The Grand Chamberlain, Pengiran Dato Paduka Hj Osman bin Pengiran Hj Petra, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office and Awang Hj Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Hj Awang Mohd Yusof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Sabah conveyed an invitation from Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Hj Ahmadshah Bin Abdullah, the Yang Di-Pertua of Sabah, to His Majesty to visit the State of Sabah. - Borneo Bulletin (16th Nov 2008)
