His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah yesterday afternoon arrived in Kuala Lumpur for a four-day official visit to Malaysia.
On arrival at Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, Their Royal Highnesses were greeted by Datuk Wira Abu Seman bin Hj Yusop, Deputy Minister of Defence, as the minister in attendance, and his wife
Datin Wira Rahimi binti Yeop; and Dato Ku Jaafar bin Ku Shaari, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam.
His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah later consented to receive and inspect a static guard by the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces.
Accompanying Their Royal Highnesses during the visit are HRH Prince 'Abdul Muntaqim and Prince Abdul Qawi.
Also present at the airport was Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Amin bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Hj Abd Rahim, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia.
Brunei Darussalam established diplomatic relations with Malaysia in 1984. The close and friendly relations between the two countries have led to cooperation in various fields including investment and trade, education, defence and culture.
Earlier, at the Brunei International Airport, Their Royal Highnesses were bid farewell by Pengiran Cheterias, Cabinet Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and senior government officers.
Prior to departure, a doa selamat was read by Pehin Datu Imam Dato Ustaz Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Bakal.
