The Brunei-Muara get-together ceremony continued to be the main attraction not only for locals but also foreign tourists, despite the packed and humid environment caused some spectators to suffer minor health cases, due to the heat.

The Bulletin enquired about the total number of treatment that was given by all the First Aid tents in the vicinity of the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien, the venue for the get-together ceremony yesterday.

It was discovered that two cases of fainting were reported during the ceremony. For one case in particular, a 70-year-old man was brought in for feeling giddy but was suddenly well enough to get out of the medical tent after hearing that the monarch was approaching nearby. - Borneo Bulletin (21st July 2008)
