His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday left Brunei Darussalam for Lima, Peru at attend the 16th Apec (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) Leaders' Meeting.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty were HRH Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, HRH Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah and HRH Prince 'Abdul Malek.

His Majesty is scheduled to attend Leaders' Meeting, which will address the global economic crisis. His Majesty is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with several Apec leaders. - Borneo Bulletin (21st Nov 2008)
