Princess Masna views 'Cities of Charm' at 5th CAEXPO

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador at Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday made a VIP inspection of the 5th China-Asean Exposition (CAEXPO) in Naning, China, before its grand opening today.

Accompanying HRH was Pg Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pg Anak Hj Abdul Aziz.

During the special VIP inspection, HRH Princess Hajah Masna paid a visit to the booth of the Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry (AiTi) of Brunei Darussalam, which is located at the Pavilion Commodity Trade for SMEs. On hand to welcome HRH was Chief Executive Pg Md Zain Bin Hj Abdul Razak.

The booth highlights several local products of the iCentre incubatees, comprising Ranoadidas, Sabli, Alif Technology, CfBt, etc.

The iCentre incubatees will showcase local products such as the Islamic Mobile Content and Sabli food products.

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna also inspected the 'Cities of Charm' area, where the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources has set up its booth showcasing popular hotspots such as Kg Ayer and Berakas Forest Reserve.

The China-Asean Exposition - proposed by Chinese premier Wen Jiabao - is a state-level international event for economic and trading exchanges and cooperation.

Organised by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, the event is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM) and the competent ministries of commerce or trade and industry of the 10 Asean countries as well as the Asean secretariat. - Borneo Bulletin (22nd Oct 2008)
