By Azaraimy HH in Jakarta

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono joined over a hundred top military officials and presidential entourage for a 2.7-kilometre morning walk yesterday at the Indonesia Air Force HQ in Cilangkap, Jakarta.

His Majesty was greeted on arrival at the Indonesian Air Force HQ by the Indonesian president and top Indonesian military brass.

Over 40 plus media personnel took up their positions as early as 5.30am to document the walk.

The morning began with an aerobic exercise around 7am at Suria Darma Building inside the large airforce base. The walk ended at the Cilangkap TNI Base Golf Club.

His Majesty and the Indonesian president then had breakfast at the TNI Golf Club.

During the morning walk, the entourage went through various sections of the base passing through a surau and an airforce first marshall statue. The walk provided some breathtaking views before ending at the golf club.

Throughout the walk His Majesty was engaged in conversations with the Indonesian president and top Indonesian military brass. - Borneo Bulletin (24th April 2008)
