Princess Hjh Masna off to Myanmar

HRH Princess Hjh Masna, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade left for Yangon, Myanmar to attend the Asean UN International Pledging Conference to be held on May 25. HRH Princess Hjh Masna, who was accompanied by Pg Lela Chetria Sahibun Najabah Pg Anak Hj Abdul Aziz, left for Myanmar at the Brunei International Airport in Berakas yesterday.

The conference will discuss international assistance in the relief and rehabilitation efforts of Myanmar following Cyclone Nargis. In attendance to bid farewell were other members of the royal family. Also present were Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam, and senior officers at the ministry. - Borneo Bulletin (25th May 2008)
