His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to attend the Float Procession, Borneo Tug-of-war Final and Fireworks Display at Taman Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien in Bandar Seri Begawan last night, the annual event held in conjunction with the 62nd Birthday of His Majesty.

His Majesty was accompanied by Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha and HRH Pengiran Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar, HRH Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, HRH Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Malek, HRH Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Mateen.

The night was even more satisfying when Brunei Darussalam captured the Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Al Muhtadee Billah Trophy in the final of the Borneo Tug-of-War comfortably. Best Float went to the amalgamation of Brunei Shell Petroleum, Brunei Shell Marketing and Brunei Shell Tankers. - Borneo Bulletin (27th July 2008)
