Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha yesterday afternoon consented to two separate audiences by the wives of the Asean Police Chiefs and the outgoing High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei at the Istana Nurul Iman.

Her Majesty consented to receive in audience wives of Asean Police Chiefs - Sri Juriah binti Dato Ahmad, wife to Tan Sri Musa bin Dato Hj Hassan, Inspector General of Police of Malaysia; Euis Trisnanigsih Padmanagara, wife to Pol Gen R Makbul Padmanagara, Commissioner General of Indonesia National Police; Mrs Cecilia Razon, wife to Pol Deputy General Avelino J Razon Jr, Head of Philippines National Police (PNP); Datin Betty Au, wife of Dato Seri Pahlawan CP Tan Sri Khoo Boon Hui, Commissioner of Police of Singapore; Tran Thi Nha, wife of Sen Supt Gen Kim Nam Sung; and Mrs Duangsamorn Sboon Eadung, wife of Police Gnl Prang Poon Eadung.

Also in attendance during the audience ceremony were Datin Hajah Masnah binti Haji Tuah and Datin Suriati binti Hj Morneh.

Meanwhile, in a separate audience, Her Majesty also consented to receive in audience Mrs Giovanna Battel, wife to the outgoing High Commissioner of Canada, Mr Leopold Battel at the Istana Nurul Iman. - Borneo Bulletin (27th May 2008)
