Thai Prime Minister ends visit to Brunei

Thai Prime Minister, Samak Sundaravej left Brunei yesterday afternoon. Bidding farewell at the Brunei International Airport was the Minister of Communication Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong.

The Thai Prime Minister arrived in Brunei on Thursday for a two-day official visit. He was granted an audience with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and attended an official dinner.

This was his first visit to the sultanate as the Prime Minister of Thailand. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand. - Borneo Bulletin (5th July 2008)
