To gain an in-depth knowledge of the establishment of Army cadets in Brunei Darussalam, Universiti Brunei Darussalam's Student Affairs section organised an Army cadet briefing yesterday morning at the Vice Chancellor Hall's Senate Room, UBD.

Among those who attended the briefing were Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah.

Accompanying Her Royal Highness to the briefing was Pengiran Seti Aminah Binti Pengiran Othman.

Also present was Awang Dr Saiful Azmi Haji Awang Husain, the Dean of Students, UBD.

Among the topics touched on the briefing were the history of establishment, the mission, vision, the objective of the establishment, the criteria of selection, the training, courses and so on.

A video clip on the many activities carried out by the Army cadet recently was shown to the participants.

After the briefing, Her Royal Highness toured the exhibition located just outside of the Senate room. For the first time, UBD had its own army cadets and currently there are 32 members. - Borneo Bulletin (6th Sept 2008)
