Sultan receives Special Australian Envoy

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to receive in audience Mr Richard Woolcott, Special Envoy for Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, at Istana Nurul Iman.

During the audience, Mr Woolcott briefed His Majesty on Australian Prime Minister Kevin Ruud's proposal for the setting up of an Asia Pacific Community (APC).

In a separate audience at Istana Nurul Iman, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, consented to grant an audience to Mr Woolcott.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs & Trade, also consented to receive in audience Mr Woolcott at the Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.
