Crown Prince grants audience

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday consented to receive in two separate audiences the outgoing Ambassador of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam and two Brunei Darussalam's newly appointed envoys.

HRH Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince first received in audience Emil Skodon, Ambassador of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam since November 1, 2005.

HRH then received in audience Dyg Rakiah binti Haji Abdul Hamid, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Canada and Md Janin bin Erih, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

Both Dyg Rakiah and Md Janin received their letters of credentials from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on April 15, 2008.

Also present during the audience ceremonies was Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pengiran Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.
