His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office accompanied by Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah attended the DPMM FC Gala Night 2009 on Tuesday evening at The Empire Theatre.

Accompanying HRH the Crown Prince was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik.

HRH the Crown Prince was welcomed by YAM Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Rahim, the Vice Chairman of DPMM FC football club.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of three awards by HRH the Crown Prince to players who have done exceptionally well. The 'Most Consistent Player Award' went to Awang Haji Mohammad Subhi Abdillah bin Hj Bakir.

The 'Young Player of the Year Award' went to Awang Mohammad Azwan bin Salleh and the 'Long Service Award' went to Mohammad Kamarul Ariffin bin Hj Md Arpan.

HRH the Crown Prince then received the letter of participation of DPMM FC in S-League 2009 presented by Mr Joseph Koh, the Singapore high commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.

During the event, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince also received a pesambah from representatives of RBA, Riverview Hotel, Seri Sentosa, Maju Motors, DST Group and Sports Partnership (Lotto) Pte Ltd. - Borneo Bulletin (18th Feb 2009)
