His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday afternoon granted separate audiences to the newly-appointed Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Sultanate of Oman and the High Commissioner of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince first received in audience Mr Muharram bin Piah, Brunei Darussalam's Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman. He received his letter of credentials from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on January 10, 2009. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince then received in audience Mr M Shameem Ahsan, High Commissioner of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam. Mr Shameem presented his letter of credentials to His Majesty on January 10, 2009.
