His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to send a congratulatory message to Mr Karolos Papoulias, the President of Greece, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day.

In the message, His Majesty congratulated Mr Papoulias and the people of Greece. The monarch also looks forward to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Brunei and Greece, bilaterally and as partners in the Asean-EU Dialogue.
