His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah (photo above), Brunei Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Friday morning in New York co-chaired the Asean-GCC Ministerial meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah.
His Royal Highness in his opening remarks reviewed the decisions made at the First Asean-GCC ministerial meeting held in Manama, Bahrain, in June.
The ministers then exchanged views on regional and international matters, including the current global economic crisis, the influenza pandemic and the situation in the Middle-East.
Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended a separate informal meeting on Global Governance and also the Asean-Mercosur ministerial meeting.
