Prince Mohamed begins visit to Moscow

His Royal Highnesses Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah arrived in Moscow, Russian Federation on Wednesday for an official visit.

Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed on arrival at Vnukovo 3 Airport, Moscow by Alexander Karchava, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Brunei Darussalam and Alexey Sviridov, Deputy Director of Protocol at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, attended a Wreath Laying Ceremony at Alexander Garden (Kremlin Wall) where His Royal Highness laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

HRH later met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mansion and discussed preparations for the Official Visit by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to the Russian Federation in October, as well as a wide range of bilateral, regional and international affairs.
