His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), consented to receive in audience from Sultanate of Oman, Lieutenant General Ahmed bin Harith bin Nasser Al-Nabhani, Chief of Staff, Sultan's Armed Forces yesterday. Accompanying the Lieutenant General was the Commander of RBAF, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof and Sayyid Fakhri bin Mohammed bin Said Al-Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam. Lieutenant General Ahmed bin Harith bin Nasser Al-Nabhani is on a four-day official visit to the country to strengthen the friendly relationship of both countries and extend the importance of defence cooperation of the respective armed forces. - Borneo Bulletin (2nd October 2009)
