Prince Mohamed meets new foreign envoys

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday received three newly-appointed foreign envoys. They were Mark Douglas Sawers of Australia; Boyko Hristov Mirchev of the Republic of Bulgaria; and Salaheddin Mohamed El Bishari of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. The audience took place at Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.

His Royal Highness welcomed the new envoys and discussed bilateral matters.

Prior to the appointment, High Commissioner Mark Douglas Sawers was the Director of Counter Terrorism Cooperation in Australia.

Non-resident Ambassadors Boyko Hristov Mirchev and Salaheddin Mohamed El Bishari are currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia. - Borneo Bulletin (5th Apr 2009)
