His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience Arthur C Yap, Secretary of Agriculture of the Republic of Philippines at the Istana Nurul Iman.

Accompanying the secretary during the audience were Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, Undersecretary for Special Concerns at the Department of Agriculture of the Republic of Philippines; Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yahya bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, Minister of Industry and Primary Resources; and Virginia H Benavidez, the Philippines Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present at the audience ceremony were Awang Sa Bali bin Abas, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Hamid bin Haji Mohd Jaafar, Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.
