Sultan grants audience to special birthday guests

Shortly after yesterday morning's investiture ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman, an audience was held for all the special invited guests for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 64th birthday celebration.
The special guests included HRH Princess Basma binti Talal of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the former Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Musa Hj Aman, Chief Minister of Sabah, Pehin Sri Dr Hj Abdul Taib Mahmud, Chief Minister of Sarawak, Datuk Amar Hj Awg Tengah bin Ali Hassan, Second Minister of Planning and Resource Management and Minister of Public Utilities of Sarawak, Mr Raymond Lim Siang Keat, Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, General Djoko Santoso, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Armed Forces, General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Azizan bin Ariffin, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air force, Dato Seri Setia Davinder Singh, Senior Counsel and CEO of Drew and Napier law firm in Singapore, Mr Rodman R Bundy, Partner of the Eversheds (Frere Cholmedely) law firm in France, Professor Alan Vaughan Lowe, Chichele Professor of Public International Law at the University of Oxford, renowned Malaysian Professor Dato Dr Harun bin Din, Professor Dr Uta Meyding-Lamade, Head of Department of Neurology, Krakenhaus Nordwest and Ustaz Zen Muhammad Al-Hadi of Indonesia.
