His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to Mr Benigno Simeon C Aquino III on the occasion of his inauguration as the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

In the message, His Majesty wished the president much success in his new post and looked forward to continue working closely with him in strengthening the excellent relations enjoyed by the two countries both bilaterally and as partners in Asean.
