His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday granted an audience to the outgoing Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam Mdm Tong Xiaoling at Istana Nurul Iman.

Mdm Tong has been China's ambassador to Brunei Darussalam since March 20, 2007. His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Brunei Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also received a farewell call from Mdm Tong at Balai Penghadapan (see page 5) yesterday.

Meanwhile, HRH Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the PMO, yesterday consented to receive in audience Iran's newly-appointed ambassador Mohammad Reza Havaseli Ashtiani. - Borneo Bulletin (25th April 2010)
