Sultan, Prince Mohamed send congratulatory messages to Jordan

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as the government and people of Jordan on the occasion of their independence day.

In the message to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, His Majesty stated that he very much valued the excellent relations shared by the two countries and was confident that these ties would continue to be strengthened in the years to come.

In ending his message, His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty would bless His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and members of the royal family with continuous good health and happiness as well as continued prosperity for the people of Jordan.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam, also sent a similar congratulatory message to his counterpart, Nasser Judeh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

His Royal Highness expressed his great pleasure in sending his deepest respects to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and members of the royal family together with HRH's warmest congratulations on their independence day.

HRH very much valued the excellent relations enjoyed by the two countries and looks forward to many future opportunities to work with Nasser Judeh towards strengthening these ties.
