Under the framework of the 16th Asean summit, the third session of the Meeting of the Senior Officials Committee for the Asean Socio-Cultural Community (SOCA) commenced yesterday at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi.

At the meeting, the ministers discussed how to implement the plan to develop SOCA, acknowledged previous outcomes and pointed out challenges to SOCA's development from now until 2015.

Present at the meeting was Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at Brunei Darussalam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. - Borneo Bulletin (8th April 2010)
