Royalty at EPL All Stars Masters

EPL All Stars Masters lifted the champions trophy yesterday as they beat Manchester United Masters in the final match of the EPL Masters Football Brunei Cup 2011 tournament, held at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas.

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik, YAM Pg Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pg Anak Hj Abdul Rahim and YAM Pg Muda 'Abdul 'Aleem and other members of the royal family, were present at the ceremony.

His Royal Highness was led to meet and greet with all the players prior to the kick-off by the Organising Committee Chairman, Sheikh Mohd Idham Sheikh Abas, followed by a group photo with all the players.

The match was attended by more than 3,000 people from all over the country, coming in their favourite teams' jersey as well as their favourite team's flags and banners.

The EPL Masters Football Brunei Cup 2011 was supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Football Federation of Brunei Darussalam (FFBD), the Tourism Department and Narcotic Control Bureau. - Borneo Bulletin (13th March 2011)
