Crown Prince visits George Washington University

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office began his official visit in Washington, DC, United States with a visit to the George Washington University. On arrival at the university, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was greeted by Mr Steve Lerman, Provost of George Washington University.

Shortly after, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was given a presentation on the overview of George Washington University, followed by a discussion session. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince then had a tour of the university's campus.

The George Washington University was created in 1821 and has more than 20,000 students from all 50 states of the United States and more than 130 countries. It offers a range of disciplines including forensic science, creative writing, international affairs, computer engineering, medicine, public health, law and public policy.

Accompanying His Royal Highness the Crown Prince during today's official visit was Prince Abdul Qawi. Also accompanying were Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Awg Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II and Dato Paduka Haji Yussof bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Brunei Darussalam's Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to the United States. - Borneo Bulletin (20th September 2011)
