His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to Yingluck Shinawatra on her appointment as the new Prime Minister of Thailand.

In the message, His Majesty stated that over the years the two countries had enjoyed excellent ties and looked forward to working with the new premier to strengthen the existing warm bilateral relations and close cooperation between the two countries.
