Crown Prince in Malaysia for Agong's coronation

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as personal representative of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia yesterday to attend the coronation and banquet of Duli Yang Maha Mulia Almu'tasimu Billahi Muhibbuddin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the 14th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.

Accompanying His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri are His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Muntaqim and Her Royal Highness Princess Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah. Also accompanying Their Royal Highnesses is Prince Abdul Qawi.

Present at the Subang Airbase to greet His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri were Datuk Richard Riot anak Jaem, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia; Dato' Naimun Ashakli Mohammad, Head of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia; Datuk Wan Hamidah binti Wan Ibrahim, Under Secretary at the Customs and International Conference Secretariat Division, Prime Minister's Office Malaysia and senior officials from the Government of Malaysia.

Also present at the airport to greet His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri were the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia, Dato Paduka Hj Ishaaq bin Hj Abdullah and his spouse, as well as officers from the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri also walked through the static guard mounted by the 6th Royal Ranger Regiment of the Malaysian Armed Forces and proceeded to the motorcade towards the hotel, where Their Royal Highnesses will be staying.

Prior to their departure to Malaysia, a doa selamat was read by Pehin Datu Imam Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awg Abdul Hamid bin Bakal.

Present to bid farewell at the airport were YAM Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz, Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria, Cabinet Ministers, Syarie Chief Justice, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Commissioner of Police, permanent secretaries, senior government officers and their spouses. - Borneo Bulletin (11 April 2012)
