Royal messages to Jordan on Independence Day

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the occasion of Jordan's Independence Day.

In the message to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, His Majesty greatly valued and appreciated the long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between the governments and people of the two countries and looked forward to opportunities to strengthen these relations in the coming year.

In ending the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty bless His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and the royal family with good health and happiness and the people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan enjoy success and progress.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also sent a similar congratulatory message to Naser Judeh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

His Royal Highness sent his warmest respects to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the royal family and congratulations to Naser Judeh and to the government and people of Jordan on their Independence Day.

HRH is pleased with the warm and friendly relations enjoyed by the people of both countries and the close cooperation between both countries. HRH looked forward to working with Naser Judeh to strengthen these much valued ties in the year ahead.
