Royal visit to Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

HER Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman, consented to visit the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, yesterday.

Accompanying Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah were His Royal Highness Prince ĎAbdul Muntaqim and Her Royal Highness Princess Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, according to a press release from the Prime Ministerís Office.

Their Royal Highnesses are accompanying His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Ministerís Office, and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, on a visit to Malaysia.

Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah was greeted by Priscilla Lau, Director of the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park and then consented to a photo session.

Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah was later briefed on the background of the park presented by the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park Rangers and subsequently toured the vicinity.

The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park has an area of 8.5 hectares, which houses 3,000 birds from approximately 200 species of local and foreign birds.

Accompanying Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah was Datin Seri Tengku Marsilla binti Tengku Abdullah, the wife of the Minister of Defence, Malaysia.
