His Majesty grants audience to APRC delegation

HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council (APRC) Vice Chairman Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi and his delegation.

Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi, who is also the former prime minister of Malaysia, is here on a two-day visit, accompanied by Shaukat Aziz, Vice Chairman of APRC; Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Syed Hamid Albar, APRC council member; Weerasak Kowsurat, APRC council member; Juha Christensen, APRC Council Member and Director of Peace Architecture and Conflict Transformation Alliance (PACTA), Finland; Virasakdi Futrakul, Secretary-General of the APRC Secretariat and Ambassador Kobsak Chutikul, Incoming Secretary-General of APRC.

The audience was also attended by Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office, Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awg Hj Abdul Rahman bin Hj Ibrahim and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng.
