HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, on the occasion of his appointment as Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his pleasure with the overall progress of bilateral ties and close co-operation in regional and international matters between the two countries.

His Majesty also looks forward to working closely with the Chinese Premier to strengthen these ties and co-operation further.

His Majesty wished the Chinese Premier much success in his new post and hoped to welcome him to

Brunei Darussalam during Brunei Darussalam’s Chairmanship of Asean this year.
