HIS Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, Deputy Sultan, yesterday consented to receive in audience Dr Han Seung-soo, a former Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, at the Qashr Al-Meezaan, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Accompanying Dr Han were Lee Joong-keun, Chairman of the Booyoung Group; Choi Byung-koo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam; and Kim Dae-sik, Advisor of Booyoung Group.

Also present at the audience were Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Education in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal

Bolkiah, and Awang Haji Brahim bin Haji Ismail, the Managing Director of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

Dr Han is in the country as an invited speaker at the Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien’s Memorial Lecture organised jointly by the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and Universiti Brunei Darussalam. The lecture will be held today (October 29). - Borneo Bulletin (29 October 2013)
