HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday attended the Special Asean-China Foreign Ministers? Meeting at the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing, the People?s Republic of China.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by YAM Pengiran Anak Mansurah Izzul Bolkiah.
The special meeting was co-chaired by Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People?s Republic of China, and Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Country-Coordinator for Asean-China Dialogue relations. The meeting was held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Asean-China Strategic Partnership and to discuss Asean-China dialogue relations.
Meanwhile, Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, and the spouses of the Asean foreign ministers yesterday visited the Beijing Baigongfang Handicraft Museum, the National Museum of China, and later attended a lunch hosted by Qian Wei, the wife of Wang Yi.
Yesterday afternoon, His Royal Highness joined fellow Asean ministers for courtesy calls on Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People?s Republic of China, at the Xinjiang Hall, the Great Hall of the People; and Yang Jiechi, State Councilor of the People?s Republic of China at a leading Beijing Hotel.
In the evening, His Royal Highness, Asean foreign ministers and Yang Jiechi attended a reception at which a television documentary on the Asean-China Strategic Partnership, entitled Journey, was presented.
His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah also joined Asean foreign ministers and their spouses at a dinner hosted by Yang Jiechi and Madame Le Aimei last night.
