HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to Joachim Gauck, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as the government and people of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the occasion of Germany’s Day of Unity.

In the message to the German President, His Majesty said he looked forward to opportunities to strengthen the much-valued relations between the two peoples and countries through bilateral and international work together in the coming year.

In ending the message, His Majesty extended his kindest regards and very best wishes to the German President for a joyous celebration. - Borneo Bulletin (3 October 2013)
